M5 delays after falling cable risk sparked closure
Motorists heading towards Bridgwater faced significant delays this morning as the M5 was temporarily shut. The closure, which affected the stretch between Burnham-on-Sea and our town, was due to a safety concern over a falling cable.
The M5 was closed between Burnham-on-Sea and Bridgwater in both directions causing long delays.
